Where temple jewellery comes from

Temple jewellery began as ornaments for deities and for classical dancers, and it keeps that scale: Lakshmi haars, kasu malas of stacked coins, jhumkas and vankis with ruby and emerald accents. Ours is 22K with a deep antique finish, made for South Indian bridal sets.
